A Fully Cast Victorian Silver Sugar Sifting Ladle

A superb Victorian silver sifter spoon of superior gauge and quality. This splendid example has a beautifully pierced and shaped shell bowl and the spoon is both fully cast and double struck (pattern front and back). The handle has a stylish engraved monogram, to the top front. This particular pattern does not shown in the Chawner pattern book, suggesting that it might have been a 'one off' created especially for the Family whose crest it bears.
