Antique Early Metalware 18thc Brass Single Octagonal Base Candlestick. French C1715-20.

A superb example of an early 18thc brass single candlestick, that clearly shows the skill of the maker....it stands on a slightly raised octagonal shaped base, has an elongated eight sided knop, above two ring turned discs....and even the deep candle sconce is eight sided.....the size is less than six inches in height....colour and overall patina are excellent....definitely one for the collector..!
