Antique Victorian Inlaid Walnut Show Frame Sofa and dating from around 1880. Constructed from quality walnut it has a shaped top rail with inlaid cartouche and panel to the centre and to each side is a pierced and inlaid cartouche of harebell design. The walnut frame extends to the sides and armrests and leading to nicely shaped supports with carved acanthus leaf. It has a deeply upholstered backrest and sides with a deep stuff over seat with shaped walnut skirt. It is raised on squared and tapering legs on castors. The sofa has been reupholstered in a quality fabric totally in keeping with the period.

MEASURES: 35.5” HIGH X SEAT HEIGHT 16.5” x 28.5” DEEP X 56” WIDE

With a lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
