Antique Pair Victorian Inlaid Walnut Show Frame Armchairs and dating from around 1880. Constructed from quality walnut and with each chair having a shaped top rail with pierced centre cartouche with harebell inlay and with fine stringing. The walnut show frame extending to the side wings and armrests with fine stringing. It has a deeply upholstered back rest , sides and armrests. The armrests leading to nicely shaped supports with carved acanthus leaf . It has a deep stuff over seat with shaped walnut skirt and they are raised on squared tapering legs on castors. They have been reupholstered in a quality fabric totally in keeping with the period of the chairs.

EACH CHAIR MEASURES:35.5” HIGH X SEAT HEIGHT 16.5” x28” DEEP X 26” WIDE

With a lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
