Description

This exquisite and unusual small Art Deco silver and guilloche enamel pill box has import marks for London 1927 and is further hallmarked by Cohen & Charles. Of shaped oval form, the hinged lid inset with a rich blue guilloche enamel cabochon applied with marcasite floral decorations within a raised scroll border. The thumbpiece opens to reveal a rich gilt interior and the original reduction mirror. The back with elegant engine-turned decorations. This is a rare piece in wonderful condition.

London Import mark.

date letter "m" for 1927.

925 for silver purity.
