Table Side Tea Antique Small Occasional Papier Mache

Superb Papier Mache Victorian Table - Wonderful Artistry - c1860

This table is an excellent example of a Victorian tilt-top painted & inlaid ebonised side table.

The fine tilt top is raised upon a turned pedestal and over a circular platform base with concealed feet. The upper painted surface of the piece displays wonderful vibrant colours and the floral subject matter is enhanced with the addition of Mother of Pearl inlay.

This table is a very beautiful example and it has been in the company of some caring owners for the last 150 years. The painted top is really very high quality & the stylish base section with gilt detailing adds to the romance of the whole. Classic English Victoriana.

Overall this piece of furniture is a lovely size and very versatile. It is in wonderful condition and will grace any location. This table represents a great investment.
