A Fine quality cabinet ideal for display or as a bedside cabinet.
This multi purpose glazed cabinet is ideal for displaying some ornaments, as a music sheet cabinet or as a bedside cabinet with a stunning bevelled mirror back. Behind the glazed and moulded framed door t he inside is lined with a lovely deep blue velvet which has some wear to the front of the shelf from its age and use, which we feel is quite charming. The cabinet has a finely made small drawer to the top which operates smoothly and is made with dovetailed construction. The cabinet is in fantastic condition featuring its original beautiful original lightly faded french polished finish and Mahogany colour. The cabinet holds period brass handles to the drawer and the door which are typical of the Art Nouveau style and stands on simple tall square tapering legs.
We have sympathetically restored, carefully cleaned and waxed this cabinet, maintaining its original patina whilst giving a lovely natural sheen and the item is ready for its new home.
Please note; This item is in fantastic condition for its age as shown by the photographs below. Being an antique item of this age there are obviously marks, scratches and dents, however, we feel that these points are which adds to its charm and character to a piece.
