Fowey River Antiques has dated this piece to the 1950s.
Professionally serviced with 12 month warranty.
The diameter is 35mm excluding the original crown.

An Omega "bumper" is a vintage Omega that has a "bumper" automatic movement rather than a full rotation rotor automatic. The oscillating weight makes a partial rotation before "bumping" into a cushioning spring. This is the earliest type of automatic movement.

The case is an amazing unrestored example, all of the edges are clean and sharp, it has never been polished or restored.
The textured dial has been sympathetically restored at some point and is near perfect with just a very fine even patination to the surface, the only work we have done to this watch is to service the movement and give the case a thorough ultrasonic clean.

As you would expect the watch is fully marked on the dial, movement and case. Overall this watch is in superb condition. It has clearly been seldom worn and an absolute must for Omega collectors.
It is very rare to find this watch with its original early tan leather constellation box, they are almost never seen.

It has the Constellation logo on the back of the case which is bright and crisp, all of the stars are clearly visible.
It is very rare to find this watch in such amazing condition and much sought after by collectors and as you can see from the timgraph trace it keeps excellent time, still within original Omega specification
