Description

A delightful early 19thc solid mahogany child’s rocking chair c1830. It is late Regency in date with carved scrolled arms, turned arm supports and legs and scrolled ends on the rockers. The chair back also has neat carved buttons on each side and a solid seat. It is not a humble piece and was no doubt made for a special child in a comfortably placed family. It has a few scuffs here and there but is in good and solid condition for its age.

Inside seat measures 26cm between arms, 32cm wide at mid point, 32cm deep at centre point.
