Flight & Barr Worcester Teapot, Circa 1805.

Description

This is an elegant Flight & Barr Worcester teapot, circa 1805.

The teapot, with its distinctive barrel shape, is uniquely decorated in gilt and orange against a white backdrop.

Notable details include an incised 'B' and '+' mark found on the underside of the teapot lid and the bottom of the teapot itself. The dimensions are as follows: height of 18 cm, width of 25 cm, and depth of 11 cm. It weighs approximately 800 grams.

Please note that the teapot's finial has been restored, as shown in the attached photo. There are nearly imperceptible hairline cracks on the bottom of the teapot, and gilding has worn off in certain areas.
