Charming Solid Mahogany Cased Clock with Attractive Enamelled Dial with Hand Painted Floral Decoration in the 4 Corners.

Height 82.25in or 209cm

Thomas Ollive of Cranbrook was Born Circa 1752 at Lewis (Sussex). Worked at Tenterden Kent and Married 1777. Working Cranbrook Kent 1778-1829 when Died. Had a Brother Samuel who worked at Tonbridge Kent. Thomas had two Partners, firstly Thomas Oliver Reader in 1805 and Subsequently with William Birch. Thomas was also a Silversmith and, so, would attract wealthy clients.

The 8 Day Bell Striking Movement has been Checked, Serviced and Tested to be in Good and Full Antique Working Order.
