Fine Victorian Cast Iron 4 Tier Etagere

Description

This Fine Quality VICTORIAN CAST IRON 4 Tier ETAGERE, dating from circa 1880, bears the maker’s name on the underside of the shelves.

It was made by the renowned GERMAN COMPANY ‘ MUSTERSCHULTZ’.

The outswept legs terminate in well-detailed Lion’s Paw Feet and the tops of the supports are finished with Classical Female Heads.

The shelves are intricately patterned and have MASK MEDALLIONS in the borders.

The metal has developed an appealing mixture of hues.

The ETAGERE is sturdy, stable and strong.

It would stand well in a Kitchen, Conservatory or Dining Room.
