Description

Edward Sanders of Poole (circa 1730) advertised that he Sold "London Quality Clocks" (please see 2nd photo). Was Also a Goldsmith - Hence the Quality Clocks for His Rich Clients.

Early Good Quality George II Oak with Mahogany Banding Grandfather Clock. As is the 30 Hour Movement with its Attractive Brass Dial, Silvered Chapter Ring , Gilt Spandrels with Kings Heads & Date Window - Striking the Number of Hours at the O'clock.

Checked, Oiled, Tested & Supplied in Good & Full Antique Working Condition.

Height 78in or 198cm. Base width 43cm (Hood 50cm), Depth 24cm.
