This fantastic Victorian (1880s) sterling silver hinged cuff would have been quite a racy piece in its day! A pierced corset bodice laced with silver wire, with an applied fleur-de-lys gallery border. The bracelet has a lovely antique patina and we have not overpolished it.
Stamped STERLING SILVER.
The bangle is in very good antique condition; there is minor surface wear consistent with normal antique usage - shallow dents, minor scratches etc, see photos. It opens easily and closes securely, both the hinge and clasp are in good working order.
Size: Internal circumference is approximately seven inches (approx 17.5cm); width 2.4cm at the back, rising to 4.1cm at the front.
