This is a pair of antique decorative lamps. A Japanese, bronze and enamel temple jar light, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1880.

Charming colour to these substantial decorative lamps

Displaying a desirable aged patina and in good order

Robust bronze bodies with colourful enamel painted panels

Ground accentuated with a profuse relief swirl pattern

Converted from imposing temple jars with a small bayonet bulb mount

Dressed with a generous length of cable, with in-line switch and a British Standards compliant 3-pin plug

Loop handles sit within charming bull's head mounts to each side

Raised upon a polished hexagonal base with shaped bracket feet
