With tall moulded cornice above three ebonised trim glazed doors enclosing five solid adjustable shelves with black trimmed edge, divided by ebonised curved mouldings, the base with three ebonised trim glazed doors and adjustable solid shelves, standing on a moulded plinth base with ebonised feet. With curved ebonised mouldings to the sides of the bookcase. Great colour and patina. France circa 1860. Locks in working order with keys. Fine quality and craftsmanship using pegged construction and original oak panelled back.
