Description

Unusually small George II style mahogany bureau c.1930. Just 22" wide. Open the fall to reveal the original baize lined work surface and a fitted interior of pigeon holes and one small drawer. Plus two short and one long drawer below the desk. A good quality copy of a mid 18th.c. bureau with very nicely figured veneers, moulded drawer fronts with Georgian pattern brass handles, and neat little sliding loafers to hold the fall. Shaped detail to the apron and raised on slim cabriole legs with carved knees and pad feet. Oak drawer sides. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Key supplied.
