Camerer Cuss London Fusee Dial Wall Clock

Description

A nice smaller 10" fusee dial wall clock. A walnut case with a brass bezel surround. A great provenance with the original makers label to the back. A 10" painted dial signed 'CAMERER CUSS & CO 56, NEW OXFORD ST, LONDON' with blued steel hands'. An 8-day duration timepiece fusee mechanism. Circa 1910.

The Camerer Cuss family of clockmakers in London are recorded in Loomes' 'Watchmakers and Clockmakers of The World' book as working in the 19th and 20th centuries.
