An Exceptional Omar Ramsden Arts & Crafts Silver Spoon

An exceptional and rare silver spoon by the great Omar Ramsden. This fabulous example is fully cast with a gently planished bowl and shaft. The top front of the shank bears fruiting vine motifs, encompassing Medieval style initials and the bowl is aubergine shaped. Probably a commission piece due to it's unique design, this superb spoon is of heavy gauge silver. Omar Ramsden is one of the greatest names in early 20th Century silver - specializing in Arts and Crafts design. Examples of his work are hotly pursued and Internationally respected.
