Excellent Victorian Open Library Cabinet - Oak - c1860

An exceptional Carved Oak Bookcase in superb condition.

Adjustable shelves, complete with detailed front edge, are complemented by the wonderfully carved side panels.

The top rail displays attractive flower carvings. The piece sits upon a continuous plinth and is sturdy and robust throughout.

This is a very good Victorian bookcase and a nice example of this style. A pleasing piece of functional furniture that looks and performs handsomely.
