Veneered in a heavily figured conker coloured walnut, it comprises one huge full circular mirror with a thick plate glass shelf underneath, ideal for your fabulous display of perfume bottles, maybe the odd picture frame and vanity items. To the left side are two generous sized drawers for all those accessories you don't want on view. On the right side is a single door with a fluted effect, which opens and closes with ease. Every single antique dealer on our platform is individually approved by our internal team. We verify their professional trade history, ethical standards, and photographic quality to ensure a secure, high-standard buying environment. Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

Art Deco dressing tables from the 1930s often feature asymmetrical silhouettes, geometric shapes, frameless circular mirrors, and figure-rich wood veneers such as burr walnut.

Craftsmen predominantly used walnut and burr walnut veneers laid over timber frames, frequently incorporating plate glass shelves, turned wood handles, and mirrored glass.

Authentic period pieces feature hand-cut dovetail joints, age-appropriate silvering wear on the mirror, solid wood or plywood drawer linings, and stepped architectural forms.

Position the piece as a focal point against a neutral wall, balancing its bold geometric proportions with understated soft furnishings and simple modern lighting.

Dust regularly with a dry microfibre cloth and apply beeswax polish sparingly along the grain, keeping the item away from direct sunlight and heat sources to prevent veneer lifting.
