A lovely Solid Silver Gilded Vesta Case of oval form with spring tight fitting lid.
The family crest to the front is of The Sackville Wests with their motto ''Jour De Ma Vie'' or ''Day of my Life''
with a crown and an eagle. This is the Aristocratic family whole lived in Knowle House in Kent and of course who''s famous family member as Vita Sackvillle West the writer.
To the from is engraved the initial ABSW, the SW for Sackville West, but Im unsure what the AB stands for
