Art Deco Walnut Tallboy, C1930

1920 - 1940
Description

For your consideration is this fabulous Art Deco Walnut tallboy dating to the 1930's. Fantastic shape and wonderful detailing. Raised on an ebonised stepped plinth, this tallboy features two good sized spacious drawers both of which open with ease. Above this is two tier open shelves, again with generous sized storage. The book paged veneers are an absolute delight and sign of real quality. Original dark green bakelite handles. Macassar ebony edging around the top. The top is also heavily figured book paged veneer. We've had this piece taken through our workshops and so comes to you in great condition with no flaws to note. There is an historical small hole in the back board, most likely made for cabling to run through.
