Here is a fine quality antique English early Victorian library table, constructed of solid mahogany, with two drawers, circa 1850, in excellent original condition. Featuring elements of the William IV period, the design and style of this table is transitional into the early Victorian period. ...o working blind frieze drawers below. The drawers can be opened by pulling a recessed handle under the drawer bottom. The two drawers are constructed with butt-joints and solid oak drawer linings. The drawers run smoothly and close flush to the frame. The Victorian library table, stands on four ring-turned legs, decorated with acanthus leaf collars at the base, united by two bar stretchers, with a central turned stretcher securing the legs. Also ideal for use as a console or side table, or even a writing table.

Here is a fine quality antique English early Victorian library table, constructed of solid mahogany, with two drawers, circa 1850, in excellent original condition. This Victorian console table has been cleaned and French polished to a professional standard in our workshop, therefore it boasts a fantastic colour and patination. Nominal old use marks to the leading edges, legs, feet and drawer interiors, but nothing significant considering the age of the item. There are no splits to the top (as the top is impressively constructed from a single piece of timber). The table is well constructed, solid in joint and ready to use.
