The decoration with fine piercing to allow the spread of sugar. The cover fitting within the ringed collar of the body. The body of baluster shape, decorated with scrolling flowers and foliage, in two bands. The lower band with fluting as the body sweeps into the waisted socle, before the circular domed foot, likewise with wyvern fluting, surrounded by the stepped foot rim.
Hallmarked for George Nathan & Ridley Hayes, Chester 1899.
