A Victorian Mahogany Barley Twisted Prayer Chair

Stock code SA175 - £230

We have for sale a beautiful example of a Mahogany Prayer Chair. In excellent condition, the Mahogany show wood has a rich patina. The front cabriole legs and rear splayed legs end in original brass castors. The seat has a serpentine front and is stuffed with horse hair, as is the back and top splat.

The chair has been upholstered in an old original tapestry and this although old is in very good condition.

This beautiful chair would grace any room.

If you would like us to reupholster this for you in a new fabric please contact us. We have a wide range of beautiful fabrics and can send samples in the post. All our work is carried out traditionally and to a high standard.
