Description:
An unusual Edwardian globe shaped perfume bottle with a silver 'pull off' lid. This is a most interesting and unusual ceramic bottle.
It is of spherical form, in cream and beige colours, with a basket weave design and cut out gilded panels. The bottle is unmarked and has likeness to some Royal Worcester designs. The silver top pulls off and is corked inside to form a seal for the perfume.
Condition :- The ceramic bottle is without damage, cracks or chips and the gilding is good. The silver top is monogrammed, possibly 'R I' and has no dents or splits.
Hallmarks :- somewhat rubbed but readable and the date letter in particular is poor.
Assay :- London 1902 (I cannot be sure of the exact date, but this is what it appears to be)
Height :- 11cms
Diameter :- 9cms |
| Date: London c1902 |
Payment by PAYPAL or UK cheque please. Great care is taken with packing and only 'signed' for' postal options are used.
PLEASE EMAIL FOR AN INVOICE or with any further questions. If there is anything further we can do to help, please ask. We would like your experience with us to be a happy one and will always try to be accommodating.
