Description:
Late 19th century Victorian Oak cased stick barometer / thermometer by J Brown of Glasgow.
The pair of pottery reading plates have individual vernier scales and adjusting knobs. This item is currently in unrestored condition although price includes restoration and the item will be sold in working order.
This is a mercury barometer with carved wood detail and carved floral decoration in good condition. (Circa 1890)
