Description:
This fine dessert service for twelve persons is fitted with hallmarked Albany pattern handles.
The rounded shaped hallmarked knife blades have line and tendril engraved decoration to both sides.
The forks also have engraved line decoration to both sides and are fully hallmarked to the reverse.
This fine service is fitted to an oak hinged box with an oval brass cartouche to the centre of the cover.
The box has a lift out tray and has a velvet lined interior.

Condition
This fine service is crafted in solid sterling silver - the handles are not filled.
The service is fine quality and in fine condition.
The hallmarks struck to each blade, fork and handle are all very clear.
The exterior of the box has been professionally polished by a cabinet maker and is therefore in excellent condition.
The interior of the box shows minor signs of wear in keeping with its age.
