Description:
A beautiful oval shaped sterling silver jewellery box standing on four pretty legs.
The top is decorated with all over engine turning with a raised border around the edge. In the centre there is a circular vacant cartouche which could be engraved if desired.
The hinge is in excellent working order; when the lid is opened the original gilding can be found on the interior of the lid; the box is lined in a wonderful blue velvet.
The box is hallmarked for Birmingham 1910, an Edwardian example. Excellent condition, measuring 3 1/4" x 2 1/4" x 1 3/4" tall.
