Description:

18th Century Antique Walnut 'Coachmans' settle.
A very unusual model of a Georgian period settle, typical in most ways, having three shaped and fielded panels in the back.
But, this period antique walnut settle is different because instead of one arm it has an upholstered head rest.
This uncommon type of antique walnut settle was used in Inns and coaching houses for the carriage driver to have a quick nap.
We think this would look great in an entrance hallway or a boot room.
In very good, clean condition.
Newly upholstered by us in a quality linen fabric.
English. Circa: 1775.

Dimensions: 106cm high x 191cm wide x 60cm deep.
