Description:
A Victorian brass double bed made for James Shoolbred & Co, Tottenham House, London that will split into a headboard, foot board, side irons and a base. The head and foot boards have a curved top rail with vertical rails with detail, square posts and casters. The casters on the headboard have been painted black but this is not too noticeable. The bed frame comes complete with its original drop in irons and a bed base which is a little faded and could do with a slight clean. The James Shoolbred plate is on the foot board, see picture. A top London top from the Victorian era. In good condition for its age. One or 2 of the small brass knobs have been replaced but not that noticeable. This bed will easily polish up and will sparkle.

full length = 80"
The bed frame will take a standard double mattress.
