Description:

A charming antique playing card box made from burl Holly with it's tight decorative figuring. The lid retains the original brass lid with the four card motifs inlaid with Rosewood, the original lacquering still intact protecting the brass from tarnishing.

The interior is split into two compartments each housing a vintage pack of (complete) playing cards, Austrian in origin.

Excellent condition, dating to around 1910. 4 1/4" x 2 1/2" x 2 7/8" tall.
