Description:

Lovely Antique Victorian Solid Oak Single Bed and dating from around 1850. Constructed from solid oak it is hand & peg joined and has a squared toprail to the headboard with turned knob finials above a panelled linen fold frieze and three panels below. The footboard has a deep moulded rail with turned knob finials to each end above three panels and both the head and footboard stand on squared legs. It has its original screw in side irons and takes a standard single matress.

Measures: 55" high to headboard x 33" high to footboard x 76" long x 36" wide

In very good condition with a lovely deep colour and patination to the oak having been cleaned using a traditional wax polish and oozing all the charm and character of the period.
