Description:

An 18th century early George III mahogany fifteen drawer partners desk.

The desk has three drawers in each pedestal on either side of the desk with a long single drawer above and to one side a slim drawer in the knee hole.

The drawers have mahogany fronts and oak linings and have replaced 18th century style brass ring handles. The desk stands on a plinth base with a moulded edge and is constructed in one piece.

The writing surface has a replacement black leather hide with gold tooled decoration. The desk has been sympathetically re-polished. (Circa 1770)
