The thick table top is probably a Victorian replacement. The table top features a very good colour / patination. The table base boasts a freeze with original lunette carvings to the front and two sides. Below the table, the turned legs are connected by a solid oak central stretcher with a dowelled frame. Length: 182cm or 6’
Depth: 92.5cm or 3’ 0½”
Knee Height: 62cm or 2’ 0½”

Condition Report:
In very good condition commensurate with age. This table boasts an early base (Charles II); the detachable thick top is most likely a Victorian replacement. The base of the turned legs have been raised a little to accommodate the dimensions of present day persons. Nominal old use marks but nothing significant considering the age of the item. Free of active wood worm, solid in joint, very heavy and ready to use.
