Description:

Really nice big firm pair of upholstered armchairs, of good large scale and with ergonomic button back form with good lumber support. These chairs are exceptional quality and probably made by one of the top makers such as Gillow or Holland, but not Howard and Sons! English circa 1860
Date: 1860
Hares Antiques is based at the Old Bear Inn halfway between Cirencester and Cheltenham in the Cotswolds.

The family live on the premises, so out of hours appointments are usually welcome.
