William Cartledge (1891-1975) was a portrait, landscape and flower painter. He studied at Manchester School of Art and the Slade School, London. He travelled extensively, painting, in India.
Art Master Liverpool City School of Art; Headmaster Pudsey School of Arts and Crafts, Yorkshire. Exhibited R.A., R.C.A.,R.I. etc.
