19thC framed ecclesiastical textile |
| From the collection of the internationally famous economist Lord Peter Bauer, a lovely early 19th century framed ecclesiastical textile featuring gold metallic threads and fringe, professionally mounted in gilt frame in the conservation manner.
Lord Bauer was highly regarded in economy, but also was a great art collector. He died in 2002. This is a chance to own something unique, and with a very interesting provenance. To read about his life search this link:

| An Edwardian Mahogany "X" Frame Stool. The outswept legs (with stretchers) support the upholstered seat which in turn is flanked by attractive slatted sides. The whole inlaid with boxwood stringing. The whole re-upholstered in a deep damson velvet with antiqued brass stud work.
