This beautiful antique Edwardian inlaid mahogany bureau / writing desk has a moulded fall front with a beautiful shell inlay, key and working lock. The interior is oak lined has two small drawers and several pigeon holes. The lower section has four graduating oak lined drawers with brass swan neck handles. The piece stands on bracket feet, has satinwood banding around all the edges, is a rich warm medium mahogany colour with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.

This beautiful antique flamed mahogany bureau / writing desk has a brass plaque on the interior ‘presented to J.W.Ritchie on 31st March 1925. The piece has a moulded fall front with key and working lock and the interior has a leather writing insert, several pigeon holes and three small drawers. The lower section has three graduating mahogany lined, cock beaded drawers with brass swan neck handles and the piece stands on four beautiful carved cabriole legs with ball and claw feet. The piece is a rich red mahogany colour with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.

The lower section has three graduating drawers which are cross banded and have replacement swan neck handles. The piece stands on shaped bracket feet, has recently been fully restored and French polished and so is in very good condition.

| A good quality George III period mahogany bureau circa 1790. Dimensions : Width 44"/112cm , Height 42"/107cm , Depth21"/53cm . In good condition this bureau has a cross banded fall with flame figured mahogany fall front with original working lock and key. It has a good fitted interior with baise writing surface. The four long drawers are completely oak lined and have beaded edges with the original brass swan neck handles .
