Victorian Mahogany Games Table / Work Box ca 1880 This beautiful Victorian mahogany games table / work box has a serpentine front and chequered top in assorted inlays. The piece has a frieze drawer above a pull out work box (this would have been covered in fabric), beautiful fretwork carved supports, shaped sides and stands on four scrolled legs. The piece has some old veneer repairs, is a rich dark mahogany colour with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
