Worcester Vase
Fine Antique Royal Worcester Blush Ivory Vase With Bird |
| This is a lovely quality Royal Worcester Vase with a very attractive bird design.
Dating to around the early part of the twentieth century.
Approximately 3" in height.
In excellent overall condition, there is just a very minor spot of wear to the gold gilding around the rim and a miniscule glaze nick to the base rim (probably original), this cannot really be seen, only felt by the finger nail, neither of these aspects detract at all and are mentioned for 100% accuracy, the vase is in fantastic overall condition.
A lovely piece of early Royal Worcester.

A SUPERB GEORGE OWEN Worcester vase. C.1890. |
| A SUPERB GEORGE OWEN Worcester vase. C.1890. CONDITION:- AMAZING, with no chips, cracks or restorations. I realise that it is unsigned, but I think that you should be able to see from my close-up photos, the typical sheer quality of Owen's piercing. Note the tiny tiny knife / cut marks so typical on Owen piercing. I have another unsigned larger vase, and a smaller signed one to compare with in my possession. The shape is a copy of an earlier Chinese shape and is so interesting. Marked with the early Royal Worcester stamp for C.1890. I ask a fraction of the 'price' of a signed one, |
Unusual Royal Worcester painted fruit vase, dated 1919 |
| An EXTREMELY UNUSUAL Royal Worcester vase SUPERBLY hand painted with fruit, possibly by CHIVERS? In real life, the style and the painting is so good, I think it must be by Chivers. CONDITION:- SUPERB to both pieces, with no chips, cracks or restorations. Size:- 7ins/ 18cms high. Fully marked to the underside with the Royal Worcester early puce stamp, and date coded for 1919. |
An ABSOLUTELY SUPERB George Owen Royal Worcester vase |
| An absolutely SUPERB George Owen Royal Worcester vase. MINT CONDITION, with no chips, cracks or restorations. I think this was almost certainly made for a friend or relative of Owen's, as it has been both incised(into the porcelain), and gilded over D.B.S. 1913. I have never seen anything like this on an Owen piece, and that is what makes me think it is special, and could even be unique. Also, as you may be able to see from my photos, the gilding is lovely and fresh. I can only find a tiny tiny piece of gilding missing at the base rim, which has been beautifully tooled. Mentioned to be 100% accurate. Size:- 3 1/2ins/ 9 1/2 cms high by 9 3/4ins/ 25 1/2 cms circumference around the body. Fully marked to the underside with the puce Royal Worcester stamp, and signed G. Owen. This vase is a once in a lifetime opportunity not to be missed.

SUPERB LARGE pair Royal Worcester vases by the great/renown JOHN STINTON |
| A SUPERB LARGE pair Royal Worcester vases by the great/renown JOHN STINTON. ABSOLUTELY STUNNING. I have seen nothing like these PAIR under around £10,000 to £12,000. A dealer said that they were 'worth' about £8,000, but then I guess they were going to sell on for a good profit. Nothing likethese quality have been offered recently. Anyway, they are BOTH in SUPERB CONDITION, with no chips, cracks, hairlines or restorations. The gilding is also in BEAUTIFULL CONDITION. NO CRAZING to either vase. They are both in MINT CONDITION, which is remakable considering their age and how vulnerable they are. Size:- 10 3/4ins /27 1/2cms high. There is a signature as per photo of J.STINTON. Both vases are fully marked with the puce stamp for Royal Worcester, and date coded for around 1918.
