A trio of mercury, also known as silvered, double wall glasses: two different shaped small liqueur or cordial glasses, and a larger wine glass with a deep gold bowl, and a mat finish floral frieze between festoon bands. 3 mid eighteenth century wine glasses

Three mid 18th century wineglasses with trumpet bowls on drawn stems with large (and on each glass differently-shaped teardrop) and high folded foot. Height (left to right) 16cms, 16.6cms, 17cms. The glasses are lightweight with striations and bubbles in the bowls but have a slight ring. Thought to be Continental although the shape seems typical of English glasses of the time. NB. CAN BE SOLD SEPARATELY IF WISHED AT £165 EACH.
