| An important pair of Derby heart-shaped dessert dishes, previously part of a service in the possession of Capt. William Childs of Raven Hall, Yorkshire - the Hall a favourite retreat for King George III. The dishes feature superb central rose sprays by William Billingsley, with bands of Smith's Blue and gilt. Factory marks in puce, c1795.
Very good condition.
