19thC Victorian elegant and unusual solid mahogany dressing table/washstand.

19th century Victorian very elegant solid mahogany dressing table/washstand with unusual outsweeping scrolled gallery, and arched back. Two drawers provide excellent storage, and the whole stands on beautifully turned legs and central stretcher. The colour is lovely, and the table has been given a hand waxed finish. In very good original antique condition.

This is a Victorian mahogany side table with the original polish, having a good colour. It has a raised gallery and two drawers under, with turned wooden knobs. The piece has three oak lined frieze drawers with flamed mahogany central panels. The side supports are moulded above a lower shaped shelf (the shelf has two ring marks) and has four beautiful scrolled carved feet. The piece has two oak lined cock beaded drawers with brass handles, stands on four tapering legs, has a small shrinkage crack on the top and one of the raised sides is a replacement ( not very noticeable).
