Victorian Burr Walnut Open Bookcase ca 1860 This beautiful antique Victorian burr walnut open bookcase has a rectangular moulded top above a deep frieze and two adjustable shelves with moulded edges, both sides have beautiful scrolled carved corbels (one has a small chip) and elaborate carvings. The piece stands on a moulded plinth, has original backboards, is a warm, rich, red walnut colour with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
