| Period Walnut French Cupboard ca 1780
This beautiful period walnut French cupboard has a rectangular moulded top with canted corners above two cupboard doors with raised fielded panels, original key escutcheons, key and working lock. The piece has a shaped apron and stands on beautiful shaped ogee bracket feet. The interior consists of a central divider, three shelves, base board and back board (all later). The piece is of a pegged construction, is a warm golden walnut colour with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
