Maples & Co Burr Walnut Dressing Table  
A Maples & Co Ltd burr walnut dressing table of exceptional quality by this well known company, circa 1900. The mirror tilts and has small drawers to either side and there are two drawers under. It stands on square tapered legs with a stretcher. The dressing table has a wonderful lustre; burr walnut is a wonderful material having a unique pattern and colour. W-122 D-60 H-175 (cm)

Edwardian Arts & Crafts Walnut Dressing Table ca 1900 This beautiful Edwardian Arts & Crafts walnut dressing table has a tilting mirror with shaped reeded supports. The lower section has a raised shaped back above two over two ash lined drawers with Cope & Collinson fittings and original brass handles. The piece stands on small shaped bracket feet, the edges are reeded and the piece is a warm medium / dark walnut colour with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing. Victorian Arts & Crafts Walnut Dressing Table ca 1890 This beautiful Arts & Crafts walnut dressing table is by the renowned maker Shapland and Petter. The piece has a swing mirror above two small jewellery drawers and two beautiful turned side supports. The lower section has a rectangular moulded top above a central drawer with kneehole and shaped side brackets. Each pedestal has four graduating mahogany lined drawers with original brass handles, key escutcheons and the piece stands on original white porcelain Cope & Collinson castors. The piece is a warm medium walnut colour with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good original condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing. The base consisting of 2 doors and 2 drawers on attractive cabriole legs outlined with ebonised moulding to enhance its wonderful shape. The highly figured walnut is complemented by this huge impressive giltwood antique mirror that sits neatly on the base to provide a wonderul cheval mirror.
