The piece stands on a bulbous turned pedestal with four beautiful scrolled carved legs with white porcelain castors. The is a rich medium walnut colour with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing. Circa 1890 solid walnut (not veneered) windout dining table on fluted turned legs with original castors, and which seats 10 comfortably. Two original leaves and original winding handle are included. The table is 42 inches wide by 55 inches long in closed position, extending to 82 inches with leaves. 29 inches high Colour, patination and condition are excellent.
