0844 This is a wonderful burr walnut Victorian card table having a well figured burr walnut top with inlaid decoration, then under you have a shaped skirt with a line inlay, the top swivels and has a small compartment for games and card storage this then opens to reveal the baize for playing games. This piece is supported by four turned and carved columns which goes into carved cabriole legs these are joined at the centre by a domed centre piece with centre turn finial. William IV Walnut Fold Over Card Table ca 1835 This beautiful William IV walnut card table has a rectangular top with rounded corners which swivels and unfolds to double in size, the interior has a central circular red baize insert and reveals a concealed games compartment. The piece has a beautiful scrolled carved frieze, stands on an octagonal tapering pedestal, a quadriform base and beautiful turned feet. The piece is a rich medium walnut colour with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing. The piece has a shaped freeze with a beautiful carved central floral motif. The piece stands on four elegant carved cabriole legs, again with beautiful floral carvings, has minor traces of old dead worm that has been treated as an added precaution, is a golden walnut colour with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
